As I stood on the bank of the river, I remembered a day about 2 years ago. The day I stepped into the water of a baptismal tank and committed my life to God. I remember the water soaking my robe and the water dripping on the floor. I remembered the people singing "Take my life and let it be... consecrated Lord to thee..." And now here, four of my very good friends were being baptised. Joy filled my heart and I prayed that we would all stay true to our beliefs and someday soon we would say, "Heaven was cheap enough." All the trials and tribulations will seen like nothing in comparison to what Jesus has in store.
